Moore Concrete Builds on Foundations with Inforlogic and Infor SyteLine

Precast concrete manufacturer enhances CX and sees more accurate lead times and BoMs following phase one of cloud ERP migration
Inforlogic today announced that precast concrete leader, Moore Concrete, has gone live with the first part of a phased deployment of Infor SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial). As part of a modernisation programme designed to replace all of Moore Concrete’s operational systems over the next three years, this phase has seen the elimination of complex spreadsheets and creation of processes to support more accurate lead times, stock control and BoMs. The reduced admin and enhanced accuracy will in turn enable the concrete manufacturer to utilise resources more productively and better meet customer orders.
Because Infor SyteLine facilitates line side stock control, the team can now view component levels and demand across each individual factory. This allows the store to accurately issue components to each factory for the week which in turn means a leaner stock holding. This more accurate management of stock will help to reduce Moore’s inventory costs by around 10% and will reduce the need of safety stock. This will also help them to make product on time, ensuring that the precast concrete leader consistently hits the high 90s percentage-wise in on time and in full delivery (DIFOT).
Looking ahead, phase two will focus on extracting greater intelligence from the reporting and boost automation further. Through delving further into the data according to sector, factory and production line, Infor SyteLine will facilitate a better view of profitability. Phase two will also see the rollout of IDM, APS, Factory Track, Serial Tracking, contract costing and material planner workbench, making way for phase three in 2026.
This final phase will see Quality Management and HR implemented, with Weighbridge integration to improve control of goods in and out. Yard picking, loading and customer collections will also be digitalised and see SyteLine integrated with the website.
The successful go live of this project is testament to the experience and skill of Inforlogic’s consultants, and a collaborative approach from the outset. The team was incredibly dedicated, willing to challenge, embrace change and go the extra mile, and bring innovative ideas to the table. This converged with a real resilience and ultimately led to a seamless deployment which minimised business disruption. Because we now have a more granular view of costs, we can be more competitive which is imperative as we pursue ambitious growth plans over the next four years. Simply put, there is no way we could achieve these growth plans without a system such as SyteLine. The standardisation and streamlining it brings means we can scale in a very considered and confident way.
